Question Anybody know this car, or what's going on under the engine?

Just curious. Check out the aluminium edge, what's up with that? Cooling, hiding a 3.6?. This pic was taken by Wayne (I assume) at Crystal Cove. Nice looking car, btw!

If it's a traditional, older 911, then that's the mobile oil drip pan!

Its a headstud catcher. Obviously has an SC engine in there.
