loud knoking sound from engine

The car has been standing for about a week with the back end slighty up hill and when I started it there was a loud kncking sound from the engin, the soun was not a ticking like a tapit.
The sound went away after about a 60 seconds or so, there is plenty of oil presser and the level is ok. also it was smokyer than normal on start up. The Car is 85 euro 911.

No oil in the rod bearings on start up. As long as it went away you probably O.K.
