Question What is this for?

I'm in the process of re-attaching the sheetmetal to my 3.2L Carrera engine but can't remember what goes into the threaded hole just below the rubber plug for the temperature head sensor.

Anybody know what this is for?

Thanks!

there's a clip that wraps around the wires and is secured to the tin with a 6mm bolt. it looks like the clip that holds the wires up top by the sensor plug stack above #3 cylinder.
