horizontal fan how to?
was the 935's horizontal cooling fan powered by an electric motor? how does this setup work? anyone done it, pics perhaps?

I believe it is a gear/shaft drive ran off of the crank pully.

The old Chevy Corvairs had a horizontal fan setup. The belt ran in a 90 degree bend. Unless it was properly adjusted and had the belt retainers, it constantly slipped off.
The solution was an aftermarket electrical setup. From what I understand, it worked very well! I hope this helps, David
