One of many dumb ??? Rear Shocks

When I removed my rear shocks I didn't pay attention to how they were put together (go ahead and flame me) Does anyone know what happens on the top?? Bushings, washers etc. It's a 84 Carrera. Thanks for the help guys!!

My 83 has the following from control arm up to top nut. Just did this last week I think I remember it all.

Bottom large bolt with large washer
Shock
Shock dust cover
Rubber bushing positioned w/cone pointing up
Bushing sleeve (fits inside the two rubber bushings and over shaft)
car chassis
Rubber bushing positioned w/cone pointing down
top large washer
top nut

Might depend on make/year, but I believe it goes:
shock (cover)-bumper-chassis-bushing-washer-nut.

Hey thanks much for the help! I attached a photo - I have one rubber bushing (in photo) one sleeve bushing (in photo) one washer & nut (not in photo) for each shock. Do I need 2 of the rubber bushings for each shock? One below the chassis and one above??

Craig,

Since both of us are in Tucson and pretty much have the same vehicle, feel free to PM me if you've want to get together to compare notes or if you just need another set of hands.

Sometimes I've thought it would be nice to see another car's setup for this or that . . .

I have removed and replaced my rear shocks but I don't have the stock ones, so results may vary.

Yes, two of them bushings are required, one below and one above the chassis mounting point. The sleeve goes inside the bushings
