I have a 1984 carrera targa with manual seats. Can I put seats with apower driver in it w/o much headache? what would be involved with wiring? TIA

Yes, simple install. If there is no power harness wiring under seats, you can make your own. All it needs is a 12+ power source and a ground-. Just be sure to fuse it.

no911 yes it is very simple, I just got done installing 993 seats in my 80 Targa. And oh boy do they look great. The electrical was easy enough, just run your hot/red wire from the front fuse block. I used my A/C slot since it is gone now. Then run a ground wire to the chassis. I went to one of the bolts for the E-brake.

I have power seats in my 84, but am going back to manual. I am a purist and my car need to be the way it left Germany. What are you going to do with your seats you are taking out. Michael
