Clutch problem
As I was leaving my softball game tonight, I put my 911 in reverse and backed up. When I tried to put it in first gear it wouldn't go in. Then I noticed my clutch was stuck to the floor. I finally got it in gear and limped down the road to see what was wrong. I pulled into a parking lot and noticed a fluid trail behind the car. It still didn't want to go in first gear so I had it towed to Performance Imports. Does anyone have an idea of what this problem is? The clutch was replaced/updated about 23,000 miles ago.

Your slave cylinder has went bad

the hydraulic hose to the slave cylinder also can burst. was the fluid clear, or was it gear oil? a while back, on an '87, an ear broke off the throwout bearing and the spinning clutch assembly jammed it into the bellhousing, requiring a tricky welding job.
