Cruise Control Upgrade?

Has anyone added cruise control to a 911SC? I have a 1978 911SC Targa without cruise. The manuals indicate that it was available for that year. Have to go in to the steering column to replace / repair what appears to be a faulty high beam switch and was wondering if it was feasible to upgrade to cruise at the same time.

Added cruise to my 1972 Monte Carlo 20+ years ago. I'm sure it's a whole different challenge with the Porsche.
