Thanks All,
Some great advice. I'm about ready to get after it again and will be a bit more forcefull. I'll let you all know the outcome.
Thanks again!

Well I got em. Man were they a bear! I slide two box end wrenches down the shaft, put the nut on top and pulled and pull and pulled. Finally after struggling with each side for about 5 - 10 mins, a sore back and legs, they would "pop" out. First one scared me as I thought it would hit the fender. Second one went smoother except for the pulling.

Thanks for everyone's input!! I appreciate it and that is what kept me on track!

Now to the Turbo Tie Rods while she's in the air.

Thanks again!

Some of you with Boge shocks can see valving and stuff? I replaced mine with Billsteins last spring, and they came out with zero trouble whatsoever, and they were yellow bodied Boge shocks, complete, just like the Billsteins I replaced them with. They're CONSIDERABLY less beefy, but the same concept.

Way to go Jim! Here's another tip that may help with the new Bilsteins... you'll find that they're MUCH stiffer (and harder to swing under the fender lip). You might want to compress/decompress them several times right before you put them in the strut, and that will loosen them up a bit an make it easier to swing under the fender. A bit of duct tape etc. on the fender lip isn't a bad idea either (to protect against marring the fender).
