3.6 Tach

Hi Guys. Having just completed a 3.6 swap into my 82 sc , I have one problem. At 4000 rpms the tachometer falls back to 0 and then seems to bounce around. What gives? I plan to post photos as soon as the car comes back from the body shop. Thanks in advance. Dan
