79SC Injector service life

What is a reasonable service life for injectors for a 1979SC with 136,000 miles and driven by a little old lady on shopping trips to Daytona, Poconos, Summit Point, Lime Rock? What real benefits will you get for your $250 investment? The ones I have are clean and have been recently tested.

IMHO if you keep up with the filter changes, and you dont buy gas from third world countries you should be good for a very long time. not much can go wrong with them, maybe the occasional leak.

"don't buy gas from third world countries"...Kind of hard to do since it all gets pumped from a common pipline.

not true, the stuff coming out of the pipeline is crude oil. i like it AFTER the chevron refinery gets a hold of it.
