Shaun, I'm glad your project is progressing well. I'm sure I'll be refering back to your threads when I muster up the courage (& money) to tackle such an undertaking.

Thanks Bob, your car and many others here on the board are great inspiration.

Paul, the whole key (time and money) to this is to give up the dream of home ownership and future financial security. I mean how much fun can you have in your home (it's a good place to sleep and keep your tools, but that's about it) versus driving around, and who wants to be old with a lot of money, which is really the best way to get old fast. it's sort of a "ive now" principle that works for me.

i applaud your dedication, skill and patience.

btw - that wurth paint looks like "hammerite" that we get here (is it a hammered finish?), i wonder whether its produced under licence?
