Can(Has) someone take a picture of the temp gauge face on a standard Carrera and overlay the actually temp scale in (F)?
I've heard the explaination several times that the (thin white bar is so and so, the thick bar is...blah blah blah. I cant be the only guy that could benefit from such an image. Just a small request from a guy that's worried he's running hot. Thanks in advance for anyone that can help out.

If you look to the left of the bars (under the plastic) you should be able to see the actual #s. They are very small. You probably have to sit in the passenger seat to do it properly - definitely not while driving.

I don't have any software that can superimpose these two, so here are some pics.

Those °F numbers posted above are approximate ...
60°C = 140°F 90°C = 194°F 120°C = 248°F 150°C = 302°F Note that the 60°C point is at is at the top edge of the bottom white band, and that the 150°C point is at the bottom of the red band! The 90°C and 120°C points are at the midpoints of the middle white marks. The full upper third of that unmarked scale is useless, since the factory 'spec book' redline for oil temperature is 130°C, or 266°F ... just about one needle width above the second white mark!!!
