Pelican Parts Update: Pelican Parts Move

I am happy to announce that Pelican Parts is moving. Excellent sales growth and good support from our core Porsche & BMW customers has caused us to outgrow our current location. The new location will be:

120 Standard Street
El Segundo, CA 90245

This is basically located 15 feet from the edge of our current location. Basically, the building across the street was available, and finally decided that it was a good move, as we expect the company to grow even further with the expansion of our Porsche, BMW, and DriveWerks websites.

For the time being, our showroom will be closed. It will reopen sometime in May at the new location. The building is about 3 times the size of our old location, and will enable us to stock more parts on site, to better serve our customers. The official move date is April 16th - we will not be shipping out orders that day, but will resume full-speed on Monday the 19th of April.

As you can see from the photo below, we're all happy about the move. To test out the new location, we took some skateboards to the concrete, and I spun a few donuts inside with the 308.

Thanks for your support!

Wayne & Tom

Yikes. It's been 'christened' by a Ferrari?

Congratulations, Wayne (and Pelican).

Nice Wayne...leave the floor empty and use the old building...you never know when you'll need to practice your donuts ..we'll pay a 20 dollar fee to use your skid pad when we drop in for parts..heh heh.

Reminds me of when I used to be a rocket scientist. We built a big facility that was painted all white inside. We had to go back and paint black and yellow stripes on the building support beams because it was hard to judge distance. Our fork lift operators kept backing into them.

When we first moved in, sometimes in the morning, when the lights kicked on, there would be mice out there. They would panic and run in circles becuse there was no where to hide.

Regards,

Jerry Kroeger

Wayne, this building may become available soon. It's footprint covers a little over 98 acres.

Think indoor road course!
