Is this bad? (Build up on exhaust valves)

I was a little concerned about the build up on my valves. This is a 73.5 CIS 2.4 with less than 50K. The car hasn't seen many miles in over 20 years so I think a lot of the miles were on leaded gas (when did that go away?). Is this normal or should I clean this with carb cleaner or brake cleaner or???

Thanks!

Hmmm... kinda looks like your exhaust valve................ o wait......it is.

If your intake looked like that id say your in trouble, but thats normal for exhaust ports to have all that carbon build up. The best treatment is to buzz it to redline frequently and blast that stuff out.
