Tensioner question

I have the original mechanical tensioners in my 76 carrera and I
was going to update to the newer pressure fed tensioners and replace ramps and chain. I came across a set of billet aluminum tensioners. Anyone ever had experience with them? I assume you just set the tension then tighten the lock nut and your set. How often do you have to adjust. The cost savings is quite a bit. Should I go for the pressure fed version or the billet and save
a little $$

i had em in mine, they're supposed to be a bit tricky to set the tension, as over tension will strech the chains> not good

they also need periodical checking, every xthousand kilometers

mine was already slack when i upgraded to pressure fed ones.. imho i'de go with pressure fed, peace of mind for a small price
