Tire size for a 71`

HI,

What size tires will fit on a 71` 911 without too much rubbing?

I was thinking of going with a 205/55/15 but i have been reading about others putting 225/50`s on their cars.

it has steel wheels

Also has anyone had trouble with their speedo after going to a wider, lower profile tire?

Thanks,
Kyle

I run 205/55 on all 4 corners running 6X15 fuchs with no issues. Stock suspension no fender rolling. 225 would rub on mine until I upgrade Tbars and add some swaybars. Remember most T's came with the comfort package (soft suspension, no sways) like mine.
