I have an 87 930. I am upgrading all my bulbs with Sylvania silverstar bulbs.. After I removed the front glass fog light cover, I can not see how the bulbs come out. Could some one tell me if the housing where the fog light bulb rotates . Or is there a trick to removing them... Thanks in advance..Al

Al,
Every fog and driving light I have ever seen with H1 or H3 bulbs had the bulb replacement done from behind the reflector ... and I don't think there is likely to be any other way to install them!

Thanks Warren
I know what you are saying. On my previous 993 they were installed from behind, very easy to replace. On the 930 its different I can not figure out how to take the bulb out. The entire housing is one piece with the cover in the front. Does any one have a diagram from the work manual, that may help.? Thanks |

Al,
I have an 84 manual in front of me and it says the following. 1. Remove Phillips Screws, take of lens. 2. Disconnet wire. Push down holding clamp for bulb. 3. Remove defective bulb and replace. Be sure guide pins on blub base fit into socket of reflector. 4. Reinstall lens. Michael
