71 911 steering column bushing?

i have read most of the posts concerning the tap in remedy for a new upper bushing replacement for 74 and up models. i have a 71 and it appears to be different. i have the 928 bushing but it does not seem to work for this model. can someone please comment as to the proper fix....as i said i have reviewed most of the posts and they seem to pertain to the 74 up models...need help!! thanks, larry

From what I can gather, the wobble is very expensive to repair in -73 and older models. The bushing repalcement for the later models does not work for us. I hope I do not have to find out how much.
