SSI conversion: new oil line over or under thermo to tank line?

I am concerned about tire clearance issues. Is there a specific orientation to these two lines? I tried it both ways and the new line has a more gracious bend to it when I install it in front of the thermo to tank line. But, this looks like it may not have enough tire clearance.

This is what it should look like


For tire clearance, route the lines in the crease at D

A is the x over line
B is the tank line

the bolts at E can be ground down for additional clearance
