Any harm in using a smaller clutch?

Based on bad advice I bought a 215mm clutch (for a 901 trans.) instead of the correct 225mm clutch for a 911 type trans.

I'd hate to have to sell the disc and pressure plate as used and buy another 225 mm unit. I am well out of money on this project...

Will there be any harm in using the smaller disc and pressure plate with the 911 trans.?

The 215 mm clutch pressure plate will not work. It is a push-type pressure plate and will not work with the 911-version of the transaxle ... modified linkage and throwout lever for the first [1970 model] of the 225 mm pull-type pressure plates.
