i'm ON THE ROAD AGAIN
after 4 months of being on jackstands for some needed things......
here's the list, i still need to attatch the door panels....but they are done except for the handles......i'll post pics in the next couple days.....girlys birthday and easter and all

1....replaced the hardest to get to oil return tube.....had a ripped o-ring
2....replaced oil cooler line (one of those "last minute" finds)
3....swepco.....tranny is SOOOOO much smoother than it was before.
4.....cup style airbox mod
5.....a complete interior rebuild with some deadly audio......this took some time......there are some things i'm going to redo but it's all coming together.
6......plugs/egt guage
7......steering column bushings
8.....a bunch of other stuff i can't remember right now........

so now i get to run her good for these 2 weeks before hershey to make sure she's ready for a week of travel after hershey for my vacation

holy crap.......this thing feels like a new car....brakes are better......runs cooler......shifts better.........steering is tight......interior is quiet with the windows up and with the top off you can hear her scream.........and the audio????? let's just say i doubt anyone here has heard such a powerfull system......holy crap batman.....the stage is there, just need to dial it in

i know i'm rambling but i've never been so pleased with my 911......people behind me on the way to hershey will understand in the tunnels

I know how it feels to be back on the road, my car was on jackstands for four months. My new stereo is the sport muffler I had installed (deleted the stereo). I also have new suspension, steering, & interior. Enjoy your ride, I hope the weather there is as nice as here. I have to work today till 2pm, but start vacation tomorrow. Going to the ocean for 4 days.
