Rear wiper motor troubles

Hi again guys.

My next problem relates to the rear wiper motor.

When I bought the car the rear wiper worked, but extremely slowly. I bought a replacement second-hand motor and fitted that. But I now have no working rear wiper at all.

So maybe the new/2ndhand motor is duff?

Anyway, I have check the power supply at the motor. There are two brown wires, one red and one red/blk trace.

With the ignition OFF and the dash switch for the wiper OFF, both red wires are live. With the ignition ON and the dash switch ON, only the solid red wire is live.

Any ideas please?
