Two mods for a 74 targa

Hey guys, I have two questions for you guys in regards to mods for a 74 targa. First, can I swap out my old beat up 2.7 L and put in a 2.4 L 911 engine without doing any mods to make it fit? In other words, is this a job that I (an average joe) can do at home on the weekend? Second, would I be able to fit an older steering wheel (say a 71) on my car if I also had the hub from the older car? Thanks!

Joe

Not sure but it would likely be easier to do it if you were using a CIS 2.4.
