I have a perfect black original dash (on the outside) that came with my '76. I am stripping the car and when I went to look at the dash I found it to be tacked on with only light glue. There were no fasteners used. Therefor it poped off with no effort and I did not have to remove the windshield. Now my questions are on the underside of my dash the plastic fasteners are broken off. Can I buy these or repair them? Becasue we all know I don't need or want to go get a used or new dash over something so small$$$. Where can I get them if I can buy them. I was not sure if normal fasteners would work that you can pick up at NAPA. What kind of glue should I use to adhere the dash to the fastener? Also since I did not have to remove my windshield to remove the dash do I have to remove it to correctly reinstall it? Becasue the rubber weather stripping around the windshield is perfect also and I do not want to damage it when removing it. Thanks

Check Pelican or maybe a dealer as a last resort (but even at a dealer, they probably won't break the bank). You should also have a couple of anchor bolts on the underside of the dash above the instrument cluster and 4 more (I think) along the front of the dash from the center to the left. Not sure if there is enough room for you to get the dash in without removing the windshield.
