Is Smog An Issue??
 

Anyone know if all SC's were exported to the US with the same smog equipment. I don't know if buying an out of California car could be brought back and smogged in this state, or if California has special requirements.:confused: :confused: :confused:

Mine had the emission sticker for California...even though the VIN shows it as a Canadian car. When I bought the car in 92, the smog rules were not as well enforced as they are now. Dealing with the current smog referees seems a little too intimidating for me. I would stay away from out of state vehicles.

No problem. A Federal or 49 state CIS will smog in California. It was only an issue when a car was first sold in California where they needed the Cali smog package.
