Is Smog An Issue??
Anyone know if all SC's were exported to the US with the same smog equipment. I don't know if buying an out of California car could be brought back and smogged in this state, or if California has special requirements.

Mine had the emission sticker for California...even though the VIN shows it as a Canadian car. When I bought the car in 92, the smog rules were not as well enforced as they are now. Dealing with the current smog referees seems a little too intimidating for me. I would stay away from out of state vehicles.

No problem. A Federal or 49 state CIS will smog in California. It was only an issue when a car was first sold in California where they needed the Cali smog package.
