My front fender rolled its own lip-the wrong way!

After I got my car painted about a year and half ago, I spun at a DE and pushed out the fender lip on the LH front. I was sliding to the left, and the LH corner was under compression which combined with the camber of the wheel to contact the fender.
I rolled it back with no problem/damage, but didn't want to press my luch by rolling more and cracking the paint.

Well yesterday I drove to work pretty early. On a very fun section going around a nearby lake, I got on it really good around a RH turn and got the rear end out a bit, as I like to do at this locale. Well I guess I loaded up the front end again, as I pushed out the lip again, this time taking about a 1/4" X 2" chunk of paint.

Now I'm really disgusted, but am optimistic my painter will be able to work magic. I'm also going to roll the edges correctly this time to avoid future mishaps..

I don't believe it's possible to roll a fender lip flat enough to handle a 7 in competitive driving without cracking the paint. But it's only very simplest touch up required.

If you've got time check out the MRPCA AX at Texas Motor Speedway tomorrow. It's a prep event for Porsche parade this summer.

Make sure you check your tires. Most likely, the fender lip cut your tire. I've done the same thing twice on my car as well. Trashed the tires both times.

Wow, sounds like you need stiffer torsion bars or to raise the front or something. (I guess the "or something" would be rolling the fender)

Good luck getting the paint fixed. I'm sure they'll be able to work magic, these days they do. ... Is your car silver or red, those will be the hardest to match paint wise.

Yep: I'd try this first, then think about torsions, fender rolling, etc. as others suggest.

I'll try the camber thing. Unfortunately(?) my car is red, shown in my avatar.
