Need a width measurement for a 911 motor?

weird question here, but does anyone have a 3.0 motor sitting on a pallet that they can get a width measurement for?

Mine is crated up in a friends storage warehouse right now and I cant take the measurement. Im trying to figure out if I can get it through the doorway going into my work area before I bring it to the house.

TIA

31" ought to do it.

(note: this is from a CAD model. . .I digitized a while back)

This is like deja vu all over again. I can swear someone asked a question almost identical to yours a year or so ago!

Add some for sheet metal if it's so assembled. From recent recollection I would say another 4" per side. So 39" overall should do it.

Thanks island! 31" is gonna be close, do you have a length measurement by chance?

sorry about that guys, I searched for 'engine' and 'width' and had not found it yet. I didnt think about just laying the tin next to the doorway to see if it would fit.

Dude, turn it to clear the door. Nobody says you have to put it through level. It is much more flat than it is wide. It is a FLAT SIX!
