... with envy

Was just drooling over this car on ebay. Sure it has its problems, but I love the chatreuse / swb look. Was this a factory color as early as '67?

Hey, he's in my area code. I'm gonna call him tomorrow and see if I can go take a look at it.

The right side pic looks quite a bit lower and it has been hit in the right rear. I love that color but what is the difference between chartreuse and viper green?

What is he saying, that the engine has only 8k on it? Or the odometer turned over? Or was rebuilt?

I've met the owner. He has one of the nicest 73.5 T's you'll ever see.

Haven't seen this car, though. Odd he'd put it up for sale without spending $25 on a nice used left tail light lens.

Pretty sure Chartreuse wasn't a '67 color. The only 1967 green shown at paintscratch.com is Irish green.

I am always a little suspicious if the seller can afford to replace a rear lense. Who knows what else they couldn't afford to fix which really costs?

The bar has many issues;
1. Mounted to the floor.
2. No seat back so in a collision your head will meet the bar causing a skull fracture.
3. No padding on the bar.
4. Apexes of bends not supported by joining tubes.

Cheers, James

Have the striker plates been painted over? What about the rest of the paint work?

I'd sure be pissed if i spent that much on a paint job and they were to lazy to mask. Painted striker plates and latches show little care in their work. If they wouldn't even mask, I doubt they did the correct prep work and rust repair. Looks good now, but I would be very weary.
