Ahhh nice wheels but rememebr where you are - Cheap!! is the first priority on these :-))
I think the bullit wheels could be had for ~$600 for a set new! vs $500 a piece. If I wanna spend $2-$3k I can get very cool wheels. But I dont (can't).

Shuie,
If I'm not mistaken the Mustang Bullet wheels are made by American Racing for Ford. I've been thinking something similar myself, ie use a Ford or Chevy bolt pattern when I adapt my 996 brakes to the car you sold me

You could probably find a set of practically new take-off Mustang Bullitt wheels w/factory tires for $6-800 (or less if you really look around).
Search the Mustang tuners (Saleen, Steeda, Roush, etc). If they don't carry them, there's a handful of parts resellers that buy/sell what the tuners literally throw away.

Cool, I looked into it a year or so ago and I think that was the info. I turned up. Two problems with the Volks.
They might look kinda out of place on an early car?? $2k is huge money for me. I need to be all in - wheels and tires for $1K including any machine work/welding. For that kind of money I could get a set of custom minilights or custom 17" fuchs. A few more bucks and your into Fikse I think?

The 5 on 5" bolt circle is very close to the Porsche pattern. In fact, many rare and desirable Porsch pattern Torque Thrusts have been screwed up by guys uni-lugging them for GM cars.
Im not sure what type of lugs the 5 on 5" "Bullet"style" wheels use, but it may be possible to open up the holes slightly offset and then use a mag style lug nut with a larger diameter shank to make up the difference.....just a thought.

Steve:
So Volks are now making them in offsets that would be applicable for our "older" 911's? I know that custom Fuch's may look more appropriate, but have been a fan of the Volk's even before the 911 purchase. Couldn't justify the cost on my MGB Which vendor carries both the Volk Racing products and has any knowledge on 911's fitment?
