i am looking for more brakes on my 77 turbo - a track car. i don't want to spend 4000 bucks for big reds. has anyone put 993 oe brakes on an older turbo? know where to get adapter parts as required? any machining required?
thx, bill |

You will likely speed close to $3000 putting 993 brakes on your car. Bite the bullet and spend the $3500 for the Racetech 993tt or GTP kit.
It is far superior, albeit a bit heavier than a 993 setup. You will never notice the extra weight, you will appreciate the extra brake come track day.
