Blinkers, Brake lights and speedo problems after engine R&I

My '84 just came back from tranny rebuild. It shifts great now but I now have no turn signals or brake lights and the speedometer is acting sort of like a tachometer. What happened?

There is an electrical connection in the transmission tunnel (accessed by removing the shift coupler cover plate). I'm guessing they forgot to plug it in.

Backup light switch probably not hooked up at front of transmission; loose wires shorted circuit, blowing fuse and taking out turn signals and brake lights. Speedo sensor (pickup coil) not installed properly on outside of transmission or magnet disk in differential housing messed up. Take it back and have the shop check/fix these items. Jim
