Bling Bling Pulley?

Does anyone have a "flash" pulley to show?

I've currently got a pulley that also runs the A/C belt, but I'm not running A/C. On the front of Wayne's rebuild book there is an engine that looks to have a light weight alloy pulley, where are these sourced?

Cheers

Hmm, I don't know, but this sounds like a product waiting to happen.

Carbon fiber look Pulley covers!

Possibly even with little LED's that flash as the thing spins around.

Or, man, this is a good one, "Spinner" caps, so that when you turn the engine off it keeps spinning and looks like it's still going.

Fishcop, just in case, I'm not ragging you for asking. The billet pulley looked cool to me too. I suppose you could relatively easily and inexpensively have some made in different styles at a machine shop, but if someone else is already making them....

Why not? They've made them for VW's (air cooled) for decades.

Like the other fellas said, shouldn't be too difficult to find someone making these?

Underdrive pulleys have been sold for years in the 5.0L Mustang parts industry. Anodized & lightweight, adjustable timing gears are popular in the ricer crowd. There's gotta be somebody who'll make you a bling pulley for the 911.

Yeah, I guess it sounds a bit wanky... But I thought it might look good, although you can barely see the pulley once the engine is in the car.

There's a pulley in Wayne's book that's designed for endurance racing. Is that the one you're after?

No, the one on the front cover is the one I'm chasing. I think the endurance one is a "serpentine" style with an idler wheel/tensioner.
