Newbie Needs Car

I have 30K burning a hole in my pocket. Am looking for a low mileage, pampered 93 964 coupe. Have been searching (in vein) Autotrader and a few dealers on the east coast. Any leads, or additional advice for where to look, would be appreciated.

Thanks

Look in the East coast PCA websites, http://www.pca.org/regions/index.html, most have their own classifieds, and the cars are usually well maintained since they are usually enthusiasts. Look in the local/regional newspapers.

I'm going to assume that you've been checking the pelican for sale site? Maybe put up a WTB ad. Also check Rennlist.

Then there's this

Also, do a search on the rennlist 911 forum. There were a few posts with links to for sale site, which I didn't save.

good luck,
Stef

Why a 964? For a couple grand more, you could jump up to a 95 or 96 993.... or shoot down and get a really sweet, mint 80s Carrera or even Turbo.

Nothing against 964s, but they just seem to have been an in-betweener model, not quite a Carrera, not quite a 993.

just my opinion, no flames please.

To answer your question...www.autotrader.com is a good place to start... as is the old standby ebay.com.

There is a message board somewhere on the web for 964s, maybe they have a for sale section....
