2004 Tour de France pictures (lots of them)

Hugo put this link on the race board, but I'm going to post some of my favorite pictures from this site:

You can't fool me, the tour is always in July!

And there's no bicycles in sight!

Funny, I thought about doing some orange contrast in my paint scheme. #71 has almost convinced me of some stripes on the ST replica. I have a huge collection of pics from the past 3 years of the TdF Auto. Very cool indeed.

I was drooling at the sight of that slide valve mfi - twin plug, RSR? motor.

What exactly are we looking at here as far as induction/injection goes? Are those carbs or is that kugelfischer fuel injection?

cars that run in tour auto, as well as other european vintage events, have to be equipped as they were homologated for the period. So ST's don't run ducks, 73 RSR's don't run whale tails, etc
here in the usa, some organizations get a little fuzzy on their rules
