Early 911 porn pics

I am looking for original early 911(64-73)Porsche press pics to use as screen savers/wallpaper.
I see some on the importers websites usually in the "40 years" section but I have problems saving into my pics section(WindowsXP) in a good sizing.
I have sucessfully downloaded some from GermanCarFans.com,the best being an orange coupe S-H 7945, but I would like more(said Oliver).
?? - does anyone have an e mail address for GermanCar Fans ,or
does anyone have an Archives address (pref e mail)within Porsche where I can get such original press pics ?
I know that Brian Long used a number of these pics in the first two of his recent "Definative History" books,so they must still be around.Anyone ?

TIA,Dennis .

Thanks Ronin,
Yes these are the pics I want to download but I cant figure how to get something more than a postage size pic on the screen saver.
Looks like I will have to consult with a local IT whiz on this .
The pics on the 40 Year site are the sort of ones that I am after .
Any other sites?
Dennis .

Hey Dennis;

There's a guy on Ebay who shows up occasionally with a CD of all early 911 ads, including French,English and German. Great pics. His Ebay ID is hi-tech_software. I may have more info if I can ever get the CD back from my PCA buddies.

Dennis,

I drilled down into the site that RoninLB gave you and came up with the following....you can get your Early 911 Wallpapers here.
http://www3.us.porsche.com/english/usa/911/40years/pcna/ur911/wallpaper_ur911.htm

Enjoy!

There's a Japanese magazine called 911 & Porsche World that published a CD full of high-res images of Porsches in Japan from the earliest through the 993 RS.

I've never seen the CD for sale on eBay, but everything shows up there sooner or later.

Here is a current auction of the CD. Looks like a BIN for $14.95.

Dennis,
I followed the directions and was able to set them as my background. They aren't large images. Mine is about 15% of my screen, 17inch monitor.

This won't help, but thought some might find it interesting: these are the original medium-format transparencies for the 1973 Carrera RS I was fortunate enough to review at Rennsport. These are from the factory. Included are most of the photos we've all seen in the 1973 car magazine advertisements for the RS.

There shouldn't be any problem if you go to the link I provided above. Just choose the correct size/resolution of the pic you want, in relation to your computer desktop settings. Or...if that doesn't make sense, just choose the largest one (1600x1200) and set that one. In Windows 2000 and above, you can choose "Stretch" which will size the pic to fit your screen.

Randy
