Next owner will probably be funding a full rebuild in the near future. So add $5k (and that's if new owner DIY's it) and you're looking at $18k after a huge headache for a still high-miles car. Could be a good buy, but probably not a steal.

Would be nice if the service history was more detailed. Maybe it doesn't need major service any time soon? Can't say. $13.5K seems like a fair price if major services are a long way off. And with 171K, you can hardly expect perfection. Heck, my 87 3.2 had 61K on it when I bought it in 2000, and it was far from excellent condition when you considered the mileage. Every car is a crapshoot. Some simply look like the odds might not be so bad.
