Top gear reviews are awesome!

I really like the Carrera GT, but if I had the chance, I would pick the older F40, McLaren F1 or even an xj220 over it.

If you rode in an XJ220 you'd be surprised, they really are not that great. A friend of a friend has an XJ220-S and has taken me around for a spin, lets just say it sure doesn't feel like a car that cost $1/2 million+ when new. It's very pretty to look at though, I'll give it that

Thanks for the link. Finally he has something good to say about Porsche. Still I think Porsche should have continued the roofline over the engine. As it is now I don't like it that much. It's cut off like a Pick-Up car. But then there's the sound of the V10....aaarrrrrrhhlllll (Homer Simpson throatrattle)

As both my sons and myself were watching the video on the computer screen (we missed it on tv yesterday!!!), we were stomping the desk shouting "the Stig" "the Stig" "the Stig" ... because, Ladies and Gentlemen, that is the moment of truth, as the famous Stig takes her 'round that airport track and sets the pace and ...the record.
The result fully met the very high expectations we put on her: the best time around, AND the knowledge that you can't do it (unless you are "Porsche-trained"). And there is nothing wrong with that!
Superb performance, danke meine Herrn!

I think they're onto their 2nd "Stig"... I read some rumours that it was Tiff Needell, but I hear he and Jeremy Clarkson don't get along well at all.

Whoever he is, he's a mad wheelman. I bet he does the job for free.

The original Stig was Perry McCarthy. It's probably still him.

I have to admit, I thought the GT would have been better around the track. It seems it's a very difficult car to drive fast, especially compared to the (supposedly non race car) Mercedes SLR.

I'm still wondering why the Radical's time of about 5 seconds quicker than the GT has been removed from the fastest lap times board.

Thats right - the first Stig 'died' after taking off from an Aircraft Carrier's ski-jump in a nitrous powered £400 Jaguar and crashing into the sea!!!!

While I never got a ride, I sat in this exact car. Totally won over.

I was told there is only two in the country. Here is a pic of a pretty car and landmark.
