Car on dyno,running very lean, please help

Hey guys,

My car is straped down on the dyno right now and right before the waste gate opens at about 3400rpms im at 15.1 to 1 air fuel
i have a 3.2 carrera with a turbo kit on it, i do have the riseing rate fuel pressure regulater, is there anyway to richen up the mixture. Please help guys

Make sure you're sampling the exhaust before the O2 sensor. If you're using a tail pipe sniffer inserted in the pipe, you're probably not getting an accurate reading...especially on a Dyno-Jet.

hmmmm,more info needed here.ls the turbo conversion a kit?if so is it new? and if it is new what does the vendor say?The chip will make or break the 3.2 N/A turbo conversion,that has to be right.set your base fuel pressure to at least 45 lbs to start.ls the FPR a boost activated riser?you need a fuel pressure guage on the fuel rail.You`re smart to post now because a 50 hour install can become a melted guinea pig in no time.The turbo car is always fastest..just before it pops

Yerman,

I agree with Raceman. The chip (I assume Protomotive) has to be tuned for fuel and ignition while on the dyno. The chip they sell is configured with ballpark setting.

Any pics on your setup? I'm curious to see your work.
