				Importance of roll bar

So I'm sitting here reading the Pelican Parts BBS and hear a boom. Look out the window to see this at the end of the driveway: (well the picture was taken a couple minutes later, but you get the idea) Called 911...went out side...no injuries. The guy just bought the Boxster yesterday. Note that the left rear tire is resting on the roll bar. Holy cow!

Did the Boxster rear end the white car and the white car tried to reversee leap frogg the Boxster?

I'm not sure what happened. Traffic on the road in front of the house was really heavy as there was a wreck on the interstate, when that happens this road is used as a short cut. If I had to guess I'd say the boxter was stopped because of traffic ahead and the woman driving the while car tried to leapfrog it. But that doesn't make sense...the front end of the boxter is crunched and the backend of the white car is damaged. I guess the boxter went under the white car's bumper and lifted it over the windshield? Hmm. One more pic

it looks to me like the Boxster rear ended the white car, and ran underneath it. Hard to believe the air bags didn't go off.

I have a full cage in my 86 Targa, and several times have been tempted to remove it. But with Atlanta traffic being as dangerous as it is, all it takes is a trip to work and I'm convinced that I'm better off leaving the cage right where it is! Randy

I'm guessing the driver's seat won't be salvageable.
