Wondering alignment, something I didn't know
I had my alignment done a couple weeks ago but needed to address the front camber by modifying the top strut plate. I tracked my car the following week before getting the front camber modified and then re checked and tweaked. I still have the stock bushings both front and back and know the alignment will wonder driving the car hard. Guess what? Even before the camber was tweaked it was obvious from the before alignment and when the car was setup now that the alignment had changed some. So I guess the old rubber bushings are shot and don't have any memory left. I didn't think the alignment would change if your not driving the car or is there something else wrong? Has anyone else seen this happen? Anyhow even though my car is mainly street I will probably go with the Elephant Racing bushings when I make the change. I think new rubber should bring the alignment back when not driving the car but in due time the alignment won't hold which is expensive and a PIMA.
Thanks, Brent |

Make sure you're checking the before and after situation with the same amount of gas or other load in the car....
