Yeah, K9Handler, I bet to you ANYTHING looks cool from your perspective, even though you well qualify it as "in its own way"
BTW please accept my sincere regards and, if you like, I still have a beer or two in the fridge for you (in Belgium).

A real DP is much like a real Gemballa. They represent the how far things can go when excess was the goal ... snifff Cool if only to mark the time and remember something...

One of the few remaining that was not raced and damaged.
Were there ever that many to begin with??? Or is he just associating a rebodied street car with a real 935?

Besides, an $80K starting price??? They guy must still be on drugs!

Ha Ha I will make it up that way sooner or later for a beer and some pcar talk...maybe even a drive.

Yes that is cool compaired to what I see here, then again we have some really cool modified hummers here, with recaro seats bolted/some taped up for the gunner and slabs of steel welded and bolted up everywhere for protection! If there is a way to mod a hummer it's been done here.

Bet ya that car kicks some plain jane 911 butt.
DP Motorsports was one of the best 911 tuners going. Don't know about now.

Interesting 911.
That 911 probably went staight to DP Motorsports from the factory. I'll bet if you pulled that boost knob between the seats you would see that 911 in a whole different light

I just looked at the pic's again and It's looks bad ass to me.
The side shot says it all, And what it says to me is I'm bad and planted for speed.
I'll bet it stops good too

As far as being dated, That's a good thing in many ways

DP Motorsport is still around. One of their 996 turbos is featured in an H&R suspension add in the back of Excellence. I like the look, but it's deffinately not for everyone.
Now excuse me while I iron my parachute pants and call Tubbs.

I could of just read this thread, and not say a dang thing. However I must say, if glam is your thing, this thing is glamming good.

I'll stick with the stock look, always a classic.
