OK to Powdercoat?

I am about to powder coat some front suspension parts. Does anyone see any problems with this as long as the pieces are capped or wrapped where necessary.
They are the struts, cross member, brakeshields, A-arms and camber plates.

Keep in mind powder coat is baked so any bushings would have to be replaced I would think . If color is not an issue , I know a couple of people that painted suspension parts with POR15 and they still look good roughly 3 years later .

Por 15, I think is better because it is more flexable in a colission with a stone chip. It seems to look better longer.. And I say this owning a powdercoat booth / oven

I don't see any problems.

Struts should be covered in numerous places to keep the powdercoating out. Spindle, brake caliper ear holes, splash shield holes, tie rod hole, ball joint pin hole, and threads for strut insert collar nut (if applicable).

You could save some bother with coating and get a later-style aluminum x-member? Just a thought.

A-arms are a wise idea. Most of those get pretty rusty. Just keep the coating out of the splines

May want to make sure the nuts underneath the camber plates are welded on there good before you coat them. Welds are really tiny and tend to break easily with age. Better to have someone put a few small beads on there to secure them before they're coated. You wouldn't want those nuts to break free and booger your new powdercoating.
