Strut Question?

Hey everyone,

I recently bought a pair of used struts for my RSR project and after checking them over I noticed that one strut is different than the other. One has a big collar shape on the top (see picture) and the other does not. Should I be worried about this?

The one depicted is a later version of the Bilstein strut. The collar is a grease receptacle, so the newer version does allow for more lube than the old one. However, the geometry is the same, so no, you should not be concerned.

Are they RSR-type struts with raised spindles? I can't tell by the photograph.
