RX7 oil cooler on a 911?
Anyone ever heard of or tried to put an RX7 oil cooler on a
911. Does the engine even know or care what type of cooler as long as you can make the lines compatible and bolt up?

Some general thoughts:
Very effective; commonly used on many track cars Cost effective; source from a boneyard Thoroughly clean any used cooler Too large for regular RS front bumper and existing front end Should install larger, -12 or -16 Male AN fittings in header tank Others with personal experience will chime in I'm sure. There's a lot of info in the archives. Sherwood |

I have seen a few on ebay for $10-50 bucks. I found one that has a buy it now for only 35. The size looks like it should fit
in my ruf front bumper very nice. What did you have for sale raceman? Are the lines relatively easy to get fabbed at a hydraulic shop?

I picked one up a few weeks ago for $110 shipped, cut the small female bungs off, had AN12 males welded on ($80) and I am mounting it INBOARD just in front of the fuel cell, with an inlet cut through the front sheetmetal.
I may get this done tomorrow, will post pics.

Shaun,
Are you going to create an exhaust duct also to encourage air flow to prevent air from stacking up?
