new camera & new mac - test post with pics

Well I got a little Fuji 3.2 MPix camera for my birthday, which prompted me to buy a new mac computer - it's a 8 GB emac with superdrive for those of you care...just a mchine to me.

Anyhoo - this is my first post with pics from the new camera posted with my new mac. Hope this works:

this is my engine:

and this is the car (next to my buddies Euro clubsport):

and this is my 2.5 year old at the aquarium:

there ya go!

Nice car.
I like the look of no rockers. Going that way with mine....maybe.
Did you paint the lower edge of the sill to match or just clean it up?
Thanks,
Wayne

Beautiful engine. You might want to think about the Appbiz lightweight sound pad for behind it, next time the motor is out.

I know Jasper and that kid surely takes after his mom!! Just kidding. If you want to check out the sound pad that Jack refers to, you can see mine at the next autox. Good pics.

Right on - yep the boy gets his looks from the wife alright. Don't mean to brag but he is a looker. A coworker recently noted the kid wouldn't sit still or shut up when they met. He figured that was my contribution.

So the car is in fact Minerva blue - theres a few around and it really is a pretty colour. I just cleaned up the area under the rockers - it REALLY needs paint though. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how to do it inexpensively and still have it look ok. I guess anthing is betterthan how it looks now.

And them's webers there ba - 40 IDA...fuel injection is for guys who want the car to start when they turn the key. I had that for years - found it far too convenient and easy to run.

Hey Jeff - remember to point that sound pad out next time we meet.

Weird, I can't see the pics, but I must say I do love the colour of Jasper's car...

Jasper, you missed some big, fast fun in Seattle on Monday,

Kevin

Great Porsche and Mac.

Your taste for the best is obvious.

So a SCWDP fellow buys a "3.2" MP cam? Those Carrera folks work in mysterious ways.

Best and Cheers!

I have the same camera. DON'T USE ANYTHING BUT THE XD memory cards. The camera has an "Undocumented feature" where if you leave the Compact Flash card plugged in, the batteries will go dead in a few hours. Ask me how I know?

The engine does not need to come out to put the pad in.

Joe. I read the same thing. The problem has been corrected and Fuji is doing warranty repair on the cams made before 12/2003. I'll try and post a link to the info. for you later. I did go with a 256 MB XD card just to be safe. Besides that, how do you like the cam so far?
