Unfortunately he paid beyond the high teens. That is what I am most distressed about.

The car is solid. The motor is fresh and strong. Only cosmetic issues. For the money demanded I would have walked.

He has to keep the car because of the money paid. I wish to help him make the best choices now on where to get the most value for the money he will have to spend making this car more comfortable to drive long distances and look great doing it. The fellow is an ace mechanic so there is no monitary loss there. When you start talking wheels/tires and paint it can add up quick. Today he tells me the raggy targa bar will be painted and new seals put in this weekend. So I guess he has decided to jump on that horse and ride!

i have had my 80 euro SC for almost a year now... the PO told me to go as fast as I dared arround the next bend....and I was hooked. I took it to work (highway) and thought man what a dog...my 32valve v8 aroara pull this hard at 80.... then i got more comfortable with the car in the curves. I am still fighting the more HP monsters at night layin in bed...

Last week I took a guy from work for a spin. He has a vey nice grand national, and love eating the v8s with his turbos....and without saying it I knew he was thinking "my GN is faster than this old 911." He was white through the curves and all he could say is "Wow, I would never be able to do that in my GN"

Also, have a friend that has a 350Z we have driven each others cars, he can pull away from me in the straights, but he cnay shake me on a back road....now we are not great race drivers or anything, but I am proud of my 25 year old car that demands some respect...

bottom line, show him why the car needs to be respected...if he still isnt it, tell him to sell it!
