Repair Book Suggestion

I am going to order Wayne's book (101 Projects...), but I am also looking for suggestions on a good p-car REPAIR book. Something that will walk me through the basics. I don't know if Haynes makes one or is it worth it? Any suggestions appreciated....

Thanks,

Ed

Bentley. More expensive, worth it.

forget the haynes. i have used it as a jack cushion before. once. i would get ben watson's CIS injection book. it learned me well.

and try to track down the parts and technical manuals. save my bootie all the time.

Wayne's book takes you by the hand quite a bit, e.g. on the oil change and other basics.

Bentley is a good reference and I use it a lot. It has the wiring diagrams nicely too.

Cheers, George

Jack cushion?

A trilogy of 101 Projects, Bentley and Haynes seems to cover all the bases and the different wording from book to book sometimes clears up a procedure that is confusing.

The one book (well, set) that I'm least confident in is the factory workshop manuals. The Pelican site and the 2 books from Wayne plus the forums amounts to the best source of info available.
