Best place for used parts

OK I've done a search without any luck. Where is the best place to buy used parts? Specifically I am looking for a fan and housing for an 80-83 SC or 84-89 Carrera. I've had good luck in the past with Oklahoma Foreign but they didn't have any. Thanks!

Bobby, try placing a WTB on the 911 parts classifieds. What fan and housing are you looking for?

Bobby,

I have to say the very best place I've found is the classified section here at Pelican. If not in a hurry you can get some of the best deals. If the part is not listed then a Wanted To Buy ad will most likely capture a response or two.

A fan and housing in perfect shape will be a tough find though.

I placed a WTB on the 911 parts classifieds already. I need the 245 mm fan and housing (not the alternator) that came on the 1980-89 911s. I need to upgrade the stock (from 78 and 79) 226mm fan to try and get better cooling for the heads. Thanks.

Another vote for Parts Heaven. Good service and good prices.

It's worth checking with TRE. If they don't have a part, they will often look for it.
